Inside Sales Supervisor – Greenville, SC Join RTO National as an Inside Sales Supervisor in Greenville, SC, where your leadership in business development will drive the success of our dynamic sales team. This role offers opportunities to shape strategy, mentor Business Development Managers, and foster a customer‑centric culture that thrives on problem‑solving and excellence while leading your team to exceed targets.
Responsibilities As an Inside Sales Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales performance while providing essential support, coaching and supervision to a team of Business Development Managers. Your responsibilities include conducting regular one‑on‑one coaching sessions to reinforce effective sales behaviours and address any challenges team members may face, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), activity levels and pipeline health to identify performance gaps and implement improvement plans, ensuring adherence to sales processes, policies and documentation standards, communicating vital system and process updates to your team, and collaborating closely with Inside and Outside Sales leadership to support dealer growth.
Qualifications & Skills To thrive as a Inside Sales Supervisor, you will need a robust set of skills that empower you to lead effectively in a customer‑centric environment. You should have a strong understanding of consultative sales practices, prospecting, pipeline management, coaching and developing Business Development Managers, proficiency with lead generation tools and databases, and a solid grasp of outbound sales strategies. Excellent communication skills are crucial for influencing internal teams and external dealer partners, and adeptness in handling objections will support your team during complex sales conversations. You should also possess strong organizational skills, adaptability, attention to detail, effective collaboration across departments, business acumen, negotiation skills, active listening and time management expertise.
