Full Time Glen Burnie, MD, US Salary Range: $130,000.00 To $170,000.00 Annually You will be responsible for designing, maintaining, implementing, and troubleshooting our clients networks. You will work in a collaborative environment to provide cutting edge solutions and customer service. You can expect to spend your time accomplishing the following: 85% of time on Objective 1: Completing customer projects and solutions 10% of time on Objective 2: Prioritization, planning, and scheduling 5% of time on Objective 3: Professional growth and development Job Responsibilities - What to Expect
Design, implement, and support LAN, WLAN, and WAN network infrastructure. Serve as technical escalation point. Create and maintain technical and process documentation. Troubleshoot infrastructure related hardware or network connectivity issues. Perform testing and validation of new hardware and code. Lead the design, test, and implementation of network proposals. Provide consultation support to internal and external partners for network infrastructure design and enhancements. Your Knowledge & Expertise
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or engineering related field (Preferred) 10 years of experience in a computer related field. JNCIP or CCNP (Required) JNCIE or CCIE (Service Provider Preferred) ITIL 4 Foundation (Preferred) Experience in production network environments. Experience in the configuration and deployment of Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba switches, routers, and wireless access points. Experience with the design, troubleshooting and configuration of network protocols such as BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, MPLS, and Spanning Tree. Experience with leading the design and delivery of network projects. Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools. Experience with the creation and maintenance of documentation such as operating procedures and network diagrams. Strong technical troubleshooting skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong time, priority, and task management skills. Familiarity with enterprise and user networks a plus. Ability to manage multiple assigned tasks concurrently with minimal supervision. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Python and Ansible experience a plus. Previous experience with Metro Ethernet networks and infrastructure a plus.
