CNC Machinist
in the Northbrook, Illinois area. This is a direct hire role with a pay range of $70,000-75,000 per year, depending upon experience.
Duties & Responsibilities: Troubleshoot machine failures/coordinate with maintenance on fixes Upload and editing of programs for production runs Assist / train operators on machine operations Interpretation of blueprints/schematics for machine setups Program verifications before uploads and production runs Tooling setup & training for new products Assist engineering w/process improvements (product or equipment) Education & Experience Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing / machine shop type environment 2 year technical degree highly preferred Experience with CNC equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.) Ability to upload, edit/program equipment (writing programs from scratch is a bonus) High attention to detail
