General Overview We are seeking an outstanding supervisor for our Chicago location. A DÔEN sales supervisor is essential to the team, ensuring a profitable and service‑mindful shop. The sales supervisor works closely with the store manager, assisting in leadership duties as called upon.
Responsibilities Customer Service:
Demonstrate extraordinary service by leading by example on the sales floor
Greet customers in a timely, professional, and engaging manner
Provide the highest level of personalized client experience to our loyal and growing customer base
Provide styling advice based on brand aesthetic and excellent product knowledge
Drive business by reacting to customers’ needs and wants
Build and maintain client relationships
Meet and exceed sales and productivity goals as an individual and as part of the store team
Always act in the best interest of the customer
Partner with Store Manager in overseeing inventory management, particularly the daily movement of product to various locations and ensuring its accuracy
Lead and execute inventory verification processes
Liaise with retail coordinators in partnership with Store Manager
Maintain organization of backstock
Oversee supply levels of collateral and other retail supplies; partner with store manager to maintain necessary levels and initiate re‑ordering when needed
Abide and enforce company COVID safety practices to maintain a safe environment for customers and team
General:
Arrive on time and be floor ready with a professional presence in line with the DÔEN brand
Maintain a visually enticing store that is neat, clean, and organized
Respond promptly to internal and external communication
Multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
Understand receiving and processing merchandise/inventory management
Process sales and returns through the POS systems with accuracy and efficiency
Perform daily operations and closing procedures
Protect store assets and inventory
Participate in monthly and seasonal inventory counts
Be proactive and take initiative
Understand and follow employee handbook and company guidelines, including dress code and customer service guidelines
Leadership:
Demonstrate shop ownership and lead when the store manager is not present
Support the store manager in all aspects of running the store
Support building, managing, and maintaining client book
Operate business profitably and minimize potential for loss
Ensure a positive work environment through recognition and motivation
Resolve personnel concerns fairly and in a timely fashion
Support new initiatives
Delegate responsibilities fairly to the sales staff
Qualifications / Skills
Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a fashion retail environment; luxury retail preferred
Technological competency; experience with NetSuite, Shopify, and Gladly desired
Computer literacy, data entry, and data processing skills
Energetic, confident, and adaptable personality
Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Detail‑oriented
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends
Physical requirements: lift/carry/move 20lbs minimum, including fixtures and product
