Create and modify scaled 2D drawings and 3D models for electrical substations.
Conduit Layouts
Switchgear Assembly Layouts
Switch House Layouts
Electrical Bus Design
Utilize AutoCAD, Autodesk 3D Inventor, Autodesk Map 3D (P4A), or SDS Inventor for drafting and modeling.
Prepare engineering specifications and material requirements.
Project Coordination
Transmit drawing packages using the Transmission Engineering job transmittal program.
Coordinate with engineers, field services, construction teams, and project management.
Collaborate with manufacturers, vendors, and committees to resolve equipment and material concerns.
Participate in project site visits, including:
Construction phases
Post-construction reviews
Operational Support
Support OPCO Substation Construction, Field Services, Project Management, and Maintenance teams.
Ensure all design work aligns with standards and safety practices.
