Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Information Assurance, Computer Science, Engineering, Intelligence Studies, Security Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience supporting Information Security, Program Protection, Research Security, or National Security programs.
Demonstrated experience developing, managing, and implementing security programs supporting Research & Development organizations.
Preferred: Master’s or Ph.D. in Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Engineering, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, National Security, or related field.
Experience supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
Experience supporting Intelligence Community research organizations.
Experience protecting emerging cloud technologies and advanced cyber capabilities.
Professional security certifications such as SFPC, SAPPC, SPIPC, SPSC, CISSP, CISM, Security+.
Experience in Research & Technology Protection (RTP), Security Classification Management, Critical Program Information (CPI), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and enterprise security risk assessments for advanced research initiatives.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles supporting classified cloud and hybrid computing environments.
Experience supporting security compliance within the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) organizations.
Ability to prepare technical security documentation, assessments, reports, and executive briefings.
Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively with executive leadership, engineers, researchers, intelligence professionals, and government customers.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement cloud and cyber security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect the organization’s data and systems.
Monitor and assess the organization’s cloud and cyber security posture, identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing mitigation strategies.
Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical data and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure cloud-based solutions and services.
Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and best practices and recommend continuous improvement.
Provide training and support on security awareness and best practices.
Participate in incident response and resolution efforts, including forensic investigations and remediation plans.
