Job Description Nightwing provides advanced cyber, data operations, systems integration, and intelligence support services. We seek a highly skilled System Administrator/Cloud Engineer to enhance our team supporting digitization technologies in Warrenton, VA.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Hands‑on experience with AWS and Linux in a production environment.
Experience patching and maintaining system databases (RDS, MySQL, Oracle).
Proven troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Knowledge of Federated Identity, RBAC, authentication & authorization solutions.
Understanding of secure‑cloud configuration (CloudTrail, AWS Config), cloud‑security technologies (VPC, Security Groups, IAM).
Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, CloudFormation).
Experience with network & endpoint security (NGFW, WAF, SIEM).
Ability to work in a fast‑paced agile environment.
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent work experience.
On‑the‑job experience as a system administrator.
Knowledge of scripting languages.
Monitoring and troubleshooting enterprise workflow applications: installing, starting, and stopping background processes, analyzing log and event files, patching.
Creating and managing virtual infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Hyper‑V, VMWare).
TS/SCI with Polygraph required Day 1.
