Responsibilities
Develop new business relationships with potential and existing customers and meet KPIs regarding prospecting and closing deals.
Understands customer business models and product needs.
Crafts solutions for customers that meet and exceed their requirements.
Prospect new clients in assigned territory.
Works to expand sales with existing clients.
Act as a subject matter expert on all product lines.
Provide reports on progress in territory and opportunities for growth.
Respond to RFQs as necessary.
Work closely with other teams on larger projects to ensure deliverables are met.
Pursue VMI opportunities.
Notify customers of signature brand products.
Work with core supplier target account programs by scheduling sales calls and presentations.
Encourage customer website usage.
Travel when necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Skills
CNC Machining experience, or
Industrial distribution or supply chain experience
Requirements
Outside Sales experience is required.
Must be age 21+ to drive a company vehicle.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Demonstrated experience managing and growing a sales territory.
Ability to build relationships quickly with key decision makers in client organizations.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self‑directed and highly productive with strong organization.
Planned and organized tasks to achieve goals and objectives while staying calm and professional under pressure.
Proficient use of a Windows computer, Microsoft Office & Teams.
Compensation $70,000-$90,000 base salary + commission.

About the Location This position is based in the Itasca, IL area. Only candidates residing in the Chicagoland area will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
