Responsibilities Solve big‑data warehousing problems at a massive scale, applying cloud‑based AWS services for processing, architecture, and self‑service data access.
Design and build ETL pipelines using efficient technologies that scale to seasonal spikes.
Drive automation and optimization across DW/ETL maintenance and deployment.
Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to solve non‑standard business problems and deliver actionable insights that influence day‑to‑day decisions.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of data engineering experience.
Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
Proficiency in SQL.
Proficiency in at least one modern scripting or programming language (Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS).
Experience mentoring team members on best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with big‑data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR.
Experience operating large data warehouses.
Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $154,600 – $209,100 annually (WA, Seattle). Compensation includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units; final pay is based on experience, qualifications, and location.
