Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership : Work alongside the GM to lead data initiatives spanning Product, Engineering, and Marketing, ensuring growth bets are measurable, correctly instrumented, and aligned with enterprise objectives.
Root Cause Investigation : Investigate metric shifts, determining whether causes are technical bugs, UX friction, or trust barriers, and turn insights into compelling narratives that shape product strategy.
Architecting Analytical Frameworks : Design and standardize product‑growth and user‑behavior evaluation processes, turning ad‑hoc investigations into repeatable, high‑signal workflows.
A/B Experimentation & Inference : Lead the experimentation lifecycle—from power analysis and hypothesis design to post‑test causal inference and rollout—and apply statistical methods to assess long‑term impact on user retention and lifetime value.
Financial Storytelling : Partner with FP&A to pressure‑test growth forecasts and link product outcomes to revenue, LTV, and segment‑level P&L impact.
Mentorship & Capability Building : Act as a mentor to other analysts, fostering a culture of data storytelling and modern AI‑enhanced workflows.
Qualifications
The Growth Mindset : Treat the business segment like your own company, proactively identifying anomalies and hunting for solutions before they become problems.
Technically Elite : Expert‑level SQL and strong product analytics experience (GA4, Amplitude, or similar) and A/B testing (Optimizely, Statsig, or similar).
Proficiency with modern AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) to bridge data and execution.
Solid understanding of statistical measures, including p‑values, confidence intervals, and causal inference.
Proficiency with Python and dashboarding tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) is recommended.
Experience: 6‑8+ years in Product Growth, Marketing Analytics, or Data Science (preferably in SaaS).
Excellent communication skills: explain complex experiments to non‑technical stakeholders without losing the “so what.”
Benefits & Compensation Pay Transparency – All Full Time Employees: $102,800 — $128,500 USD.
Compensation may include commission or bonus and covers health & welfare benefits, paid leave, and a competitive benefits package.
Work model: Hybrid – a combination of remote work and in‑office collaboration at our Boston or Waltham locations.
