Responsibilities
Collects data and analyzes client information
Works collaboratively with managers and other teammates to collect and clean data, ensuring reporting is accurate, timely, and of high quality
Audits data results and reports findings to supervisors
Prepares standard and ad hoc reports
Analyzes client data in conjunction with other consultants to recommend safety and claims management opportunities
Integrates data from multiple data sets into relevant systems for report publication
Follows policies, procedures, and/or reports that make the overall practice more efficient and effective
Effectively communicates with internal and external clients, including facilitating meetings and explaining complex concepts to non-technical audiences
Training end users on new reports and dashboards
Transforms data from various sources into actionable strategies that align with client specific goals.
Partners with clients to consult on data analytics uses cases.
Qualifications Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required. Major in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics or Finance
Advanced MS Excel experience is required. Microsoft PowerBI experience is preferred
Understands data sources, processes, formulas and output
Ability to understand data integrity and correctness
Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively present information to Associates at all levels of the Lockton organization
Internally motivated and self-starter
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed
Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions
Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of Client and company information
Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines
Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft
Ability to use office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, calculator, and photocopier
Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of time
Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
Legally able to work in the United States
