Position Summary We are seeking dependable and motivated
Welders
to join a growing manufacturing team in Knightstown, IN. This position is ideal for candidates with experience using MIG and TIG welding equipment in a production or fabrication environment. Welders will be responsible for producing high-quality welds, reading prints and weld symbols, inspecting finished parts, and maintaining a safe and organized work area. Pay is based on experience and skill level. Key Responsibilities Operate MIG and TIG welding equipment safely and efficiently Read and interpret blueprints, prints, and weld symbols Perform part inspections during production using inspection tools and equipment Set up welding equipment and adjust settings for various jobs Maintain welding equipment through daily cleaning and basic maintenance Produce quality welds with minimal rework Always maintain a clean and safe work environment Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. as needed Work overtime when required to meet production demands Assist with training and mentoring less experienced welders at advanced levels Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent Technical degree or certification in welding preferred 2+ years of experience with MIG welding required; TIG welding experience preferred Knowledge of welding safety procedures and fabrication practices Knowledgeable in robotic welding, CNC Press Brake, Bender is a plus Ability to read a tape measure and interpret basic measurements accurately Knowledgeable in measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, protractors Ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and grow within a structured welding program Analytical and problem-solving skills. Organizational and time management skills. Basic math skills.
