Bradley Professional is currently looking for experienced and skilled Pipe Welders for a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY in Greensboro, NC! Are you a skilled Pipe Welder looking for a rewarding career opportunity? We have a direct hire position available in Greensboro with a competitive pay range based on experience. This role offers the chance to work both in the field and in the shop, with occasional travel and non-local jobs.
Key Responsibilities: Perform pipe welding in the field and shop settings Travel up to 25% of the time and work on non-local projects for 3-week periods Weld to qualified procedures using SMAW (STICK) and GTAW (TIG) methods Read and interpret blueprints Conduct a 6G ASME test on 2-inch pipe before starting work Utilize hand tools, lifts, and rigging equipment
Qualifications: Prior experience in PIPE welding Proficiency in SMAW (STICK) and GTAW (TIG) welding methods Ability to read and understand blueprints Comfortable working with hand tools and lifting equipment Physical stamina to work long days, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs Flexibility to work in varying temperature environments
