Job description: Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of trucks and equipment. The Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in various types of trucks and equipment. Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines to ensure optimal performance. Conduct inspections of equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate. Operate equipment safely while performing repairs or maintenance tasks. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on all equipment. Collaborate with other mechanics and team members to improve operational efficiency. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with heavy machinery. Requirements Proven experience in equipment repair and maintenance, particularly with diesel engines. Knowledge of air brake systems and their maintenance is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
