We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance operations in a small but dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will oversee a small team responsible for maintaining equipment and ensuring safety compliance within manufacturing plants. This role focuses on efficient team management and preventative maintenance to minimize disruptions, with emergency maintenance needs being uncommon. Candidates will be skilled in troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and project management while also being able to roll up their sleeves and work alongside their team. Key Responsibilities Supervise a small maintenance team of 1-5 members Lead and mentor a maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Coordinate routine and preventive equipment maintenance Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards Monitor maintenance tasks to minimize downtime Support troubleshooting and repair efforts as needed Conduct hands-on repairs and serve as a technical resource for the team. Maintenance and Repair Perform and oversee troubleshooting, repair, and service of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Implement and manage a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend equipment life, Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities, parts usage and repairs. Facility and Equipment Management Maintain the physical plant, equipment, and utilities to ensure compliance with safety and operational requirements. Schedule and coordinate vendor or contractor support for specialized repairs or capital projects Manage spare parts inventory and recommend cost effective improvements. Safety and Compliance Enforce and promote a strong safety culture; ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies. Participate in incident investigations and corrective action planning. Maintain records for audits, inspections, and preventative maintenance schedules. Preferred Qualifications Education: 5+ years of experience in maintenance supervision Technical or vocational training preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent Proficient in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and basis fabrication trades. Skilled in troubleshooting motors, sensors, and automation systems preferred. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Other Requirements Strong organizatinal and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Available for on-call or emergency support as needed. Some travel may be required.
