The Welder will be responsible for performing welding tasks primarily on steel and mixed materials, focusing on small-scale components and medium-sized assemblies. Utilizing MIG and TIG welding processes, this role involves metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and material preparation, with opportunities for advancement into supervisory positions within the welding team.
1st Shift $20-26/hr. Openings in SE Columbus, Groveport/Lockbourne, & Gahanna
Responsibilities Perform welding using MIG and TIG processes on steel and mixed materials Fabricate metal components according to specifications Read and interpret blueprints and welding plans Prepare materials and set up equipment for welding tasks Conduct welding repair and maintenance on assemblies Preferred Qualifications Entry-level experience in welding Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and SMAW (Stick) welding Blueprint interpretation skills Knowledge of welding safety standards Experience with metal cutting and hand tools operation Strong attention to detail Company Description PrideStaff can offer you a wide-range of rewarding career options.
