Position Overview
Elite Automation is seeking an experienced *Embedded Services Project Manager* to lead and manage our embedded service teams deployed at customer sites. This role is responsible for *daily team execution, scheduling, task management, SOP enforcement, and direct people leadership*, while serving as the primary customer-facing leader delivering a true *white-glove service experience*.
This position blends *project management, operations leadership, and technical oversight*. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on knowledge of *robotic systems, ASRS cranes, pallet conveyor systems, and PLC-controlled automation*, combined with proven experience managing technicians, engineers, and field service personnel in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam & Operations Management
* Directly manage embedded service teams at customer sites, including *daily schedules, work assignments, and task prioritization*
* Lead, coach, and develop technicians and engineers to ensure high performance, accountability, and safety
* Own *hiring, onboarding, performance management, and termination* of embedded service personnel as required
* Ensure strict adherence to *SOPs, safety policies, training requirements, and customer site rules*
* Maintain staffing plans to ensure proper coverage, skill alignment, and responsiveness to customer needs
Customer Experience (White-Glove Service)
* Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding embedded services
* Build strong, long-term customer relationships through proactive communication and professional execution
* Ensure rapid response and resolution of issues while maintaining customer confidence and trust
* Represent Elite Automation with a high level of professionalism at all customer sites
Project & Execution Management
* Manage day-to-day execution of embedded service scopes, small projects, and ongoing operational support
* Develop and maintain schedules, work plans, and resource allocations using tools such as *Microsoft Project, Monday.com, and the Microsoft Office Suite*
* Track progress against milestones, service KPIs, and customer expectations
* Coordinate closely with engineering, controls, mechanical, and customer teams to ensure seamless execution
* Identify risks, escalate issues appropriately, and implement corrective actions to maintain performance and uptime
Technical Oversight
* Provide technical leadership and guidance related to:
* Robotic systems
* ASRS cranes and storage/retrieval equipment
* Pallet conveyor systems
* PLC-controlled automation systems
* Support troubleshooting efforts and ensure issues are resolved efficiently and safely
* Translate customer needs into clear, actionable tasks for embedded teams
Required Experience & Qualifications
* Proven experience managing *embedded service teams, field service teams, or on-site automation support teams*
* Strong background in *industrial automation*, including:
* Robotic systems
* ASRS cranes
* Pallet conveyor systems
* PLC controls and industrial automation environments
* Demonstrated experience with *people management*, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and disciplinary actions
* Strong scheduling, organizational, and multitasking skills
* Proficiency with *Microsoft Project, Monday.com, and the full Microsoft Office Suite*
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface confidently with customers, technicians, engineers, and leadership
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for resolving technical and operational challenges
* Knowledge of databases is a plus
* No travel required.
* Work Sceduel would be M-F 8:30-5:00 Some weeks working a swing shift 1 Pm to 8 Pm to based on needs of traning team members on night shift.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
