Overview This role reports to the Enterprise Resilience and IT Vendor Management function and is responsible for leading IT Procurement and Vendor Management activities, ensuring adherence to industry best practices, internal outsourcing and procurement policies, and applicable regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will lead IT procurement initiatives, develop procurement plans, manage supplier selection and contracts, maintain IT contract registers, and ensure the efficient operation of the purchase-to-pay process. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Vendor Manager with financial services experience to lead procurement activities while providing expertise and insights to senior management and key stakeholders. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Dublin, with a requirement to attend the office a minimum of two days per week. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing suppliers. Develop and maintain a procurement plan to ensure contract renewals are reviewed and challenged within appropriate timelines, delivering value for money and compliant contractual arrangements. Own and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual supplier review meetings. Work with IT and business stakeholders to evaluate and report on vendor performance, addressing areas of concern. Resolve supplier-related issues promptly through effective communication and collaboration. Review critical suppliers resilience in line with operational resilience and digital operational resilience requirements. Assist in annual budget preparation and ongoing IT budget monitoring. Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant legislation. Maintain and enhance IT contract and savings tracking mechanisms. Support the management of outsourcing arrangements. Lead IT tender processes in collaboration with the Procurement function. Conduct market research to identify optimal products and suppliers based on value, quality, and delivery requirements. Support assurance activities including audits, licence reviews, and regulatory requests. Assist with vendor management controls, risk assessments, and reporting activities. Act as the primary point of contact for procurement support across IT projects. Deliver procurement activities as directed by management. Support project teams with procurement expertise and guidance. Produce accurate and timely procurement progress reports for stakeholders. Participate in procurement, tender, and assurance review meetings as required. Support contract administration activities in conjunction with the Procurement Team. Education Degree (Level 8 or equivalent) in Business, Procurement, Law, Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Formal procurement and/or procurement law qualifications are desirable. Experience Strong understanding of procurement management within financial services and/or IT environments. Experience working within matrix organisations and leading procurement and tender processes of varying complexity. Experience in procurement and contract management within regulated industries and associated technology service providers. Competencies Strong knowledge of procurement methodologies and tendering best practices. Experience negotiating commercial agreements and understanding contractual and legal risks. Ability to draft and review complex commercial contracts, service agreements, and framework agreements. Proven ability to build successful supplier relationships that improve business outcomes and delivery performance. Strong management reporting and analytical capabilities. Knowledge of purchasing frameworks and sourcing options. Ability to develop and maintain standards, procedures, and workflows. Excellent collaboration, stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills. High levels of personal motivation, initiative, and professionalism. Skills: Vendor Management IT Procurement
