System Manager - HIM Medical Records

Southwest Healthcare is seeking a System Manager - HIM-Medical Records who collaborates with staff across the region. Duties include but are not limited to participating in emergency preparedness drills, demonstrating understanding of roles in emergencies, facilitating educational activities, developing and revising departmental policies, ensuring equipment and supplies are available, reporting unsafe situations, and handling malfunctioning equipment.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, five to seven years of experience in the field, minimum three years of leadership experience, current RHIA or RHIT certification, and knowledge of compliance standards and HIPAA regulations.
