Rate:- £37-40.46 PH PAYE (Pension, Holiday)

The successful applicant will join a team supporting new product component introductions. You'll deliver complex design solutions across global manufacturing, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
The Role
Design/package components: aluminium & cast iron castings, gear-train, valve-train, drive-train, in-cylinder parts Input to breather, cooling, FEAD and lubrication system development Lead FMEA/risk assessment, design reviews and validation needs definition Produce drawings/technical data to internal standards for prototype and volume release Manage deliverable mile stones, and collaborate with suppliers using Advanced Product Quality Planning APQP toolsEssential Experience
CREO10 expert; 6+ years CAD design experience Strong engine or mechanical systems knowledge (incl. bolted joints, sealing) Good understanding of casting, machining and manufacturing assembly principles Strong communication, teamwork and self-management HNC or technical degree preferred (mechanical/automotive) or equivalent experience Not essential but beneficial to have:- Product Lifecycle Management PLM Tools experience, validation & verification, diesel, alternative fuels which are spark ...
