Associate Director, Media Planning & Strategy

The Associate Director, Media Planning & Strategy defines daily functional management of client needs and leads the day to day work of the Strategy team who possesses a deep expertise in HCP. You will report to either the Director, Strategy or VP, Strategy. This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. Responsibilities:

  • You will possess a deep understanding of the HCP (Health Care Professional) audience
  • You will further develop your expertise in different media research tools
  • You will provide support the Director, Strategy and VP, Strategy
  • You will manage a team of direct and indirect reports and manage them in onboarding, performance management, providing training processes and tools, managing and delegating team workload, responsible for the outcomes and deliverables of the team, and coaching team to achieve client and agency requests
  • You will manage one to multiple client accounts and specialize in HCP planning and strategy and will transition between them conducting the following activities: provide the initial perspectives on media strategies, provide input to client to help shape their marketing priorities, develop a daily relationship with appropriate clients on assigned brands, oversee overall media strategy, approach, and plan on each account, manage the media channel mix and initial budget allocation & rationale, represent the interests of other capability teams in client and agency partner meetings, collaborate with internal leaders to ensure strategic agreement of deliverables with client needs, push for continuous improvement of self, team, and client deliverables, and may be asked to contribute to new business and organic growth efforts

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years media planning experience
  • 1+ years HCP media planning and media strategy experience
  • 2+ years management experience
  • 1+ year of cross-channel media planning experience
  • Familiarity with standard media research and planning tools (e.g. Clear Decisions)
  • 1+ years previous pharma media experience, across a diverse set of conditions, disease states, and audiences (DTC, HCP, Payer)

Compensation Range: $79,990 - $114,975 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
