Location: Ann Arbor, MI. Onsite 4x a week (Local only) Duration: 6+ Months Contract MoI: Video Interview Our client is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support Agile Scrum-based product teams within a highly dynamic and fast-paced development environment. This role will focus on new product development and enhancements across a global portfolio of in-store and mobile applications (excluding POS systems). This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a running stream — supporting teams that are actively delivering code while contributing to new product initiatives that have not yet been deployed to stores. The team is actively interviewing and looking to onboard someone within the next month as a contractor is rolling off and team growth has created additional workload. What You'll Be Doing: Partner with 7 cross-functional Agile Scrum teams (5–12 members each) Work closely with Technical Delivery Managers (TDMs) and Scrum Masters Collaborate with Product Owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions Decompose requirements into detailed user stories and tickets Read and interpret technical documentation Communicate effectively with developers across multiple technology stacks Contribute to documentation and solution design artifacts Participate in whiteboarding sessions and hands-on problem solving Support globally deployed products as well as new product development initiatives Help drive solutions proactively without needing constant direction Technology Environment: This is a complex ecosystem with a broad catalog of technologies. Exposure to diverse technical environments is highly valued. Developers across teams work with: .NET JavaScript Java Swift Mobile application development Multiple databases Cloud technologies Integrated data science workflows within Scrum teams What We're Looking For: Required: Strong Technical Business Analyst experience (not a Project Manager profile) Ability to read technical documentation and "speak developer language" Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Strong collaboration skills across engineering and product teams Ability to break down high-level requirements into actionable development tickets Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Self-starter who proactively drives solutions Preferred: Experience in startup environments or highly innovative teams Exposure to retail or restaurant technology (not required) Experience in large, complex technical ecosystems Automotive supplier experience is acceptable Soft Skills: Curious and eager to learn Comfortable asking questions and seeking clarity Adaptable and able to jump into fast-moving teams Confident communicator who can provide direction when needed Takes initiative without waiting to be asked Team & Environment: 7 Agile Scrum teams Teams range from 5–12 members Globally distributed teams (not limited to North America) Data science integrated into the Scrum process Highly Agile, delivery-focused environment
