Overview We’re looking for a DevOps Developer who thrives at the intersection of development and operations. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in getting software changes from development into production quickly, reliably, and securely.
You’ll design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot build and deployment issues, and collaborate across teams to ensure smooth, low-risk releases. This is a hands‑on role focused on automation, reliability, and continuous improvement of the software delivery lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable deployments
Automate manual processes to reduce errors and improve efficiency
Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and environment issues
Coordinate and manage software releases across multiple environments
Monitor pipelines and processes to identify bottlenecks and improve performanceAdminister and support DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, etc.)
Ensure all changes meet audit, security, and compliance requirements
Partner with developers, QA, and operations to drive continuous delivery
Document processes and support audit readiness
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or relevant work experience may substitute for formal education)
Minimum 4 years’ experience in software development, operations, DevOps, configuration/change, or release management
Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
Hands‑on experience with DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, and Docker
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, Groovy)
Solid troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities
Experience working in Agile environments (Jira, Rally, etc.)
Ability to work independently on projects and collaboratively across teams
Preferred
Strong experience with Groovy or Java
Experience with AWS
Experience with release tools (e.g., UCD)
Unix/Linux experience
How you’ll work
Collaborative, cross-functional team environment
Strong focus on ownership, communication, automation, attention to detail, and continuous improvement
Monday‑Friday, normal hours with possible on‑call support as required for release operations and for hot fixes
