Perform inpatient rounding post-op and assist in cardiovascular surgeries See patients in clinic for follow-up and post-procedure care Interpret EKGs, X-rays, labs, and manage ECMO, IABP, and Impella devices Collaborate with surgical teams in endoscopic and radial artery harvesting procedures Provide coverage during scheduled shifts and on-call hours, including weeknights and weekends Support the clinical team with first assists during surgeries as needed What You Need
Active CA license and DEA registration BC in Physician Assistant discipline Experience with cardiovascular procedures, EKG interpretation, and device management preferred Strong clinical skills in inpatient and outpatient settings Ability to work flexible hours and handle call obligations About the Assignment This assignment at a leading facility in Torrance, CA, offers a dynamic environment focused on cardiovascular patient care.
