Responsible for Providing Basic Nursing Care: Offer direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Responsible for Vital Sign Monitoring: Conduct regular monitoring of vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate, promptly reporting any abnormalities. Responsible for Maintaining a Clean and Safe Environment: Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the patient's living space, promoting infection control measures and preventing hazards. Responsible for Assisting with Nutrition and Hydration: Assist residents with meals, providing support for proper nutrition and hydration, and monitoring dietary preferences and restrictions. Responsible for Observing and Reporting Changes in Condition: Regularly observe residents for changes in physical or emotional well-being, promptly reporting any concerns to the nursing team. Responsible for Documenting Care: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities, including ADL assistance, vital signs, and any notable observations. Responsible for Collaborating with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for residents.
About you:
Holds a valid CNA certification in the state of Ohio, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining professional standards and compliance with regulatory requirements. Sensitive and collaborative work style with exceptional verbal and written communication style. At least 1-2 years of experience specifically in geriatrics. Exhibits a genuine passion for patient care, showing empathy, and fostering a compassionate environment that promotes the well-being and dignity of each resident. Focus on patient-centered care and uses collaborative approach with patients. Demonstrates proficiency in providing basic nursing care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), vital sign monitoring, and maintaining a clean and safe patient environment. Exhibits a strong work ethic, reliability, and dependability in fulfilling assigned duties, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
