Responsibilities
Conforms project plan sheets to company standards.
Ensures that engineering and field notes and other details are incorporated into plans, drawings, and other engineering documents as required by the project manager.
Completes final project deliverables on time and within budgets.
Prepares proposal exhibits that are clear, concise, and suitable for review by clients, potential clients, and the public.
Communicates appropriately to project managers and supervisors regarding any conflicts or problems related to the quality or schedule for deliverables.
Prepares assignments to meet quality standards and expectations of clients (external & internal), including way exhibits, utility plans, change order plans, and as-built drawings.
Supports the preparation of design details, specifications, and estimates.
Maintains consistent flow of communication with the project team and project manager regarding project status.
Conveys technical information utilizing clear verbal and written skills.
Demonstrates understanding of company drafting and file naming standards.
Demonstrates a dedication to the organization and industry through participation in training activities and actively seeking opportunities to contribute to the achievement of company goals.
Qualifications
2 years of college or AAS degree in engineering or engineering technology preferred.
3-5+ years of relevant experience.
Working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD; Micro‑station experience preferred.
Demonstrated effective written and verbal skills.
Ability to prioritize and organize assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment.
Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with a variety of unique and diverse people and personalities.
