Coverage needed ASAP Estimated credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days (expedited process available for urgent needs) Day-shift hospital-based schedule Call coverage:
Every third weekday (Q3) Every third weekend 1:3 call rotation among Interventional Radiologists
Average case volume: Approximately 8 cases per day Facility open to travel providers able to provide 2 3+ weeks of coverage per month Job Details / Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive Interventional Radiology services in a hospital-based practice setting. Perform a wide range of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including:
Angioplasty Stent placement Embolization Needle biopsies Thrombolysis Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)
Additional experience with orthopedic, gynecologic, and urologic interventions is preferred. Work collaboratively with a support team that includes:
3 Interventional Radiologists 2 Advanced Practice Providers Department manager and ancillary staff
Primarily treat adult patients, including a significant geriatric population. Provide inpatient and emergency procedural coverage within a Level I Trauma Center. Required Skills & Qualifications
Board Certification in Interventional Radiology (Required) Active Michigan Medical License (Required)
IMLC/compact licenses not accepted
BLS Certification (Required) ACLS Certification (Required) Current NPDB self-query dated within 30 days of presentation (Required) Clean malpractice and license history strongly preferred Ability to participate in weekday and weekend call rotation Experience performing a broad range of interventional radiology procedures
