DaVita Dialysis Technician (PCT) DaVita is hiring a Dialysis Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease at our Ridge Park Dialysis outpatient clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. To maintain your full-time hours you may need to float and assist at our Rockside Dialysis in Independence, Ohio and our Parma Heights Dialysis locations. As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. Some details about this position:
Operational Hours: Mon-Sat 4:15am - 3:00pm (at Ridge Park, hours can vary when floating to Rockside or Parma Heights) PCTs expected shifts for this clinic: 3-4 days/week with a minimum of two Saturdays/month and can be asked to start as early as 4:00 am This clinic uses Fresenius machines and has 13 chairs. The shifts are scheduled with 1 RN and 2-3 Dialysis Techs. Hours of work may vary during the training period; however, you will typically be working between 32-40 hours per week during training You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday Paid training: DaVita offers all new dialysis teammates a robust, paid training program to help you learn the right dialysis skills. The training is a mix of classroom and hands on training. Reimbursement for your Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) license Our PCTs also find DaVita professionally fulfilling. Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic with a class of new teammates other than your assigned home clinic
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment Set up and maintain dialysis equipment Record vital signs and patient data Educate patients on treatment and kidney health Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
Requirements
High school diploma or GED Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment Physically able to work long shifts on your feet Willing to float between local clinics if needed Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
