Patient Assistant Patient Assistants at The Johns Hopkins Hospital have the opportunity to provide highly skilled and compassionate patient- and family-centered care as contributing members of the healthcare team. The work of this class involves a wide range of patient care duties. Under close supervision from a technical superior, the employee is expected to solve simple problems by referring to instructions or established work procedures which are readily learned. Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma. No experience required
Licensure/Certifications:
Nursing Assistant Certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing required. Current CPR certification
Salary Range: Minimum 19.94/hour - Maximum 19.94/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority. The Hospital reserves the right to modify employee schedules as needed.
