Description This is an on‑site network engineering role available at Huntington's corporate offices in Columbus, OH; Birmingham, AL; Tupelo, MS; Atlanta, GA; Detroit, MI; Minnetonka, MN; and Houston/Dallas, TX. The Network Engineer III primarily focuses on designing tailored network solutions to meet specific client requests and proactively mitigates risk by assessing potential issues and providing technical expertise. Key Responsibilities Provide Level 3/4 engineering support for the corporate enterprise network. Verify hardware/software requirements, design and configure local area network, wide area network, data center network and/or voice network technologies. Perform network equipment provisioning, configuration, installation, monitoring and troubleshooting. Support network technologies and provide a high level of user support. Provide effective production support, including accurate problem identification, ticket documentation and customer/vendor dialogue. Document small‑to‑medium scale projects and deliver presentations with minimal supervision. Dissect complex situations and refocus on critical technology tasks. Maintain current professional and technical skills and keep abreast of emerging technologies that integrate and drive value for Huntington. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. 7+ years of related experience in network or solutions engineering. Preferred Qualifications Technical certifications such as CCNP. Hands‑on experience with Cisco and/or Arista technologies (routing, switching, firewalls, etc). Professional working experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Python. Professional experience with incident response and cross‑functional partnership with other lines of business. Advanced understanding of business technology drivers and their impact on architecture design. Advanced understanding of performance, monitoring, best practices and HNB policies. Proficiency in more than one specific infrastructure technology. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a group, effectively multi‑task and prioritize. Self‑directed and accountable. Employment Details Exempt Status: Yes (not eligible for overtime pay) Workplace Type: Office Locations: Columbus, OH; Birmingham, AL; Tupelo, MS; Atlanta, GA; Detroit, MI; Minnetonka, MN; Houston/Dallas, TX Compensation Range: $70,000 – $140,000 Annual Salary (actual pay may vary) Benefits include health insurance, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
