Wind Harvest International, Inc. is an innovative wind energy technology company based in Davis, California. We are excited to launch our Wind Harvesters as the first utility-scale, H-type vertical axis wind turbines that can operate in the turbulent conditions of mid-level wind (15-100' above the ground).
Our largest target market is the "understories" of wind farms with excellent mid-level wind where our short turbines can fit beneath and between the traditional horizontal axis wind turbines. Our next largest market is high energy using facilities with setback restrictions that prevent zoning of taller, propeller-type turbines. Our turbines are on track to be third-party certified (Technology Readiness Level 8) in early 2024, and bank financeable in 2025 (TRL 9).
Wind Harvest is seeking an accomplished General Manager to lead our day-to-day business operations and deliver our products to customers around the world. Our ideal candidate has exceptional people management and leadership capabilities as well as demonstrated experience overseeing multiple corporate functions including sales, marketing and operations. We are looking for a self-starter who acts independently, directs one's own work and can handle diverse tasks quickly and efficiently.
