Car Wash Manager

Rapid Repair is looking for a hardworking and motivated Car Wash Manager to join our team and help lead daily operations within our vehicle wash and preparation department. This role is responsible for overseeing the flow of vehicles through the Car Wash department while ensuring quality, efficiency, safety, and an exceptional presentation for both dealership inventory and customer vehicles.

We Are Looking For
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in automotive, car wash, detailing, or related operations preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage workflow in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and team leadership abilities
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to hold team members accountable while maintaining a professional work environment
  • Experience working with inventory, scheduling, or dispatching processes a plus
  • Valid driver's license required
What You Can Bring To The Table
  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the Car Wash department
  • Supervise and support Car Wash Attendants to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Ensure vehicles are cleaned, prepared, and completed in a timely manner
  • Monitor workflow and prioritize sold units and customer vehicles appropriately
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Communicate vehicle damage and operational concerns promptly and accurately
  • Monitor inventory and equipment to ensure efficient department operations
  • Schedule and coordinate work assignments based on business needs and staffing levels
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of team members
  • Help maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and dealership presentation standards
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety regulations, and company policies

Supervisory Responsibility: Yes

Physical Demands/Work Environment: Medium Work- lifting, pulling or pushing up to 50 pounds occasionally, or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, or 10 pounds of constantly as required to move objects. This position requires the ability to stand, sit, crawl, climb, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp. This position requires the ability to talk and hear. This position works in a covered area but will also work outside at times and experience heat and cold, hazards and noise.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Standard Business Hours with ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent; and one year or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent; one to two year's related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CAD detailing or supervisory experience is preferred.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications (Certification/Licenses/Registrations): Valid driver's license
