Ideal Candidate Experience Experience administering middleware tools such as IBM Broker/MQ Experience administering Microsoft Power Platform and Azure Experience scripting in PowerShell, Python, and Linux Experience in artificial intelligence application development & integration Experience administering scheduling tools such as UC4 Minimum 8–12 years of experience Responsibilities Create, monitor, manage, troubleshoot and patch application landscapes and transport code changes between landscapes to provide support for various applications. Review growth and performance of landscapes to avoid outages or degradation of service levels. Utilize advanced administration and troubleshooting techniques to complete complex assignments or solve difficult problems. Mentor, coach, and support other IT staff to improve technical abilities and assist in completion of challenging assignments. Explore ways for automation to reduce human error and achieve process standardization. Keep abreast of the latest technologies and enhancements. Understand and communicate the relevance and application in the workplace. Research and implement enhancements and new technologies as required. Simultaneously assigned to multiple projects. Coordinate tasks with other project team members as appropriate. Define and implement standards for implementation and administration of applications and compliance with SOX requirements. Provide risk assessments regarding development and maintenance of IT security functions that protect information availability and integrity. Plan and design control functions to maintain segregation of duties for SOX controls. Review landscapes and make recommendations for changes to ensure efficiency and integrity of information. Create documentation to support the maintenance, change, and recoverability of information. Evaluate and test the integrity and recoverability of applications and data by reviewing and testing proper backup and recovery procedures. Earning and maintaining certifications in related application administration areas. Acquire and maintain deep knowledge of cloud architecture and its impact on database and application design decisions and how they affect organizational operating costs. Requirements & Skills Educational/Experience Level: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology or a related field. Minimum 4 years of experience supporting Java‑based applications, JBoss, Tomcat, IBM MQ Broker, job scheduling tools, single sign‑on tools, monitoring tools, Unix shell scripting, and SQL (SQL Server & Oracle). Strong communication skills: Ability to communicate politely, clearly, and effectively with internal and external customers, including senior management, on technical and complex matters. Numeric proficiency: Ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages, and simple statistical methods. Computer proficiency: Working knowledge of various software applications to create documents, reports, and/or graphics and support databases. Work conditions: Works in an office environment.
