Overview Are you passionate about food quality and looking for a new opportunity? If so, we want to hear from you. We are working with a well‑established food business that supplies fresh produce and prepared produce ingredients to major retailers. They focus on delivering high‑quality, fresh products with a strong emphasis on food safety, traceability, and customer specifications. They are now looking for a passionate Quality Auditor to join the team.
Responsibilities
Work closely with all departments to ensure products are produced in line with customer specifications and internal standards.
Complete quality records daily or at the agreed frequency outlined in the product specification.
Carry out start‑up and completion checks, and perform routine production quality checks (product weight verification, packaging integrity checks, paperwork verification).
Ensure all batch codes and dates are correctly entered and traceable.
Support the wider team in maintaining high standards across the site and ensuring food safety and quality requirements are consistently met.
Qualifications
Background in food manufacturing QA or QC, ideally within fresh produce or prepared food environments.
Confident making quality‑based decisions and a solid understanding of HACCP and sampling practices.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a busy team environment.
Good IT skills.
Full driving licence.
