Carrier Enterprise Canada is seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Senior Information Technology Project Manager to join our growing team. This is a strategic role for an experienced IT leader who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment and enjoys driving meaningful business outcomes through technology. The Senior Information Technology Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and delivering major IT initiatives that support our CAD ~$500M Canadian business unit. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Applications (U.S.) with a dotted line to the President, Carrier Enterprise Canada, this role ensures that enterprise systems, digital capabilities, and technology roadmaps are tightly aligned with business objectives. This highly visible, self-starter position leads large-scale, country-wide IT projects from concept to execution, partnering closely with functional leaders and our centralized shared-services IT organization. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a multi-year IT project roadmap that aligns with business strategy and operational priorities. Partner with functional departments to implement technology solutions that improve processes, productivity, and customer experience. Lead full lifecycle project management for complex IT initiatives, including planning, budgeting, resource coordination, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Ensure technology systems and practices comply with relevant regulations, data protection laws, and cybersecurity standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, integrators, and technology partners. Drive digital transformation initiatives, leveraging modern applications, automation, analytics, and AI to enhance operational efficiency. Champion change management practices to support smooth adoption of new systems and processes. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Professional project management certification: PMP, CAPM, or equivalent. Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience delivering IT business applications and enterprise systems. Demonstrated experience leading ERP migrations; experience with Infor CloudSuite Distribution (CSD) is highly preferred. Familiarity with key enterprise platforms including CRM (Salesforce/Service Cloud) and Business Intelligence tools. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate at all levels. Strong analytical problem-solving and data-driven decision-making abilities. Working knowledge of generative AI models and their application in enterprise operations. Experience in distribution environments operating under a hub-and-spoke model is an asset. Knowledge of transportation and warehouse management solutions is a plus. Ability to travel once per month to company locations across Canada and the United States.
