Mechanical Design Engineer We're looking for a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing, collaborative engineering team building highly specialized industrial equipment used in advanced and next-generation manufacturing environments. What You'll Be Doing
* Design and develop complex industrial machinery and mechanical systems from early concept through production release * Create innovative mechanical solutions for high-temperature, vacuum, thermal processing, and automated manufacturing applications * Apply a systems engineering mindset , integrating mechanical, electrical, controls, and manufacturing requirements into cohesive, high-performing designs * Produce detailed 3D models, assemblies, fabrication drawings, and engineering documentation using SolidWorks and AutoCAD * Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to optimize performance, reliability, and manufacturability * Participate in hands-on prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous product improvement * Evaluate design performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and robustness
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field * 5-10 years of experience designing industrial machinery, automation equipment, or complex mechanical systems * Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and working knowledge of AutoCAD * Solid understanding of mechanical design fundamentals, materials, manufacturing processes, and system integration * Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments (mechanical, electrical, controls, manufacturing) * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, practical engineering approach * Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high attention to detail and design quality
