Description
The Compliance Data Analyst supports the compliance functions of our automotive warranty programs by analyzing regulatory, form-filing, and product-approval data across multiple states. This role ensures that all vehicle service contracts (VSC), GAP, ancillary protection products, and warranty-related documents comply with Lender requirements and state Department of Insurance (DOI) regulations. The analyst will manage filing data, track approval statuses, evaluate compliance risks, and ensure that all regulatory requirements are accurately reflected in company products, forms, and processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze and validate data used in VSC and GAP form filings, rate filings, and state/lender submission packages to ensure accuracy and compliance with state statutes
Track and maintain databases for state approvals, renewal dates, filing statuses, and regulatory updates across all automotive warranty jurisdictions
Review state-specific requirements and compare them to product forms to identify variations needed for approval
Perform regular audits of forms, dealer agreements, rate sheets, and operational processes to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or compliance risks
Develop dashboards and reporting metrics showing compliance trends, approval timelines, violations, and operational performance indicators
Support internal and external audits by compiling data, documenting findings, and preparing action plans
Ensure employees and partners are kept informed on regulatory updates affecting warranty products, forms, and filings
Provide data-supported recommendations for form revisions, or compliance enhancements
Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field highly preferred
2-4 years’ proven experience in a compliance role preferred
Knowledge of state regulatory requirements, insurance statutes and automotive warranty product compliance preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skill
Excellent Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
