KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Cloud DevOps Engineer for our Consulting practice.
Key Responsibilities
Assist clients in cloud migration engagements, including strategy, suitability/readiness assessment, migration planning, sourcing options, and business case and execution coordination specifically in Azure
Help with application design changes for cloud suitability and migrations; assist in design, implementation and migration to new IT infrastructure and cloud (IaaS/PaaS) environments
Serve as the primary liaison with client stakeholders and architects
Support client pursuits and development of service proposals
Assist in developing enhancements to infrastructure and cloud management methodologies and contribute thought‑leadership content
Qualifications
Minimum three years of recent experience in IT infrastructure technology management and architecture including IaaS/PaaS/DevOps cloud transformation programs and infrastructure automation; prior system/storage, administration, engineering, and consulting experience
Four years of cloud strategy, migration, and transformation leadership, including implementation and migration of cloud services (IaaS/PaaS) in Azure or AWS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; preferred certifications (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, Azure, VMware)
Proficiency with IaaS/PaaS (Azure, Amazon Web Service, GCP), CMDB, CSDM, and infrastructure automation/orchestration technologies (e.g., Chef, Puppet, BladeLogic); experience with Terraform highly preferred
Additional desirable experience in infrastructure automation, Unix administration, scripting/programming, SDLC process knowledge, unified communications, collaboration, database/application server architecture, networking, information security, GenAI, and RAG
Ability to travel as needed
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment‑based visa sponsorship now or in the future
