Basic Requirements for All Applicants
Attention to Detail – Performs testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, and maintenance of resources used for the transmission of information in data, voice, and/or video format. Ensures systems availability, functionality, integrity, and efficiency.
Customer Service – Provides customer support services including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and training in response to user requirements.
Oral Communication – Coordinates support services in response to customer needs. Develops standards and procures for applications and coordinates efforts with team members.
Problem Solving – Ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data through planning, analysis, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of information systems security programs, policies, procedures, and tools.
Minimum Qualifications Applicants must meet at least one of the following conditions:
Specialized Experience – For GS‑09 level, one year of experience at a GS‑07 level. Experience in litigation support, including knowledge of database creation and utilization using programs such as Nuix, CloudNine Law, Relativity, and Everlaw; electronic data acquisition and processing; pre‑trial and trial support; and courtroom presentation using TrialDirector.
Education – Successful completion of a master’s degree or equivalent graduate degree, or two full years of progressively higher‑level graduate education leading to a master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management, or a related field with a minimum of 24 semester hours in those disciplines.
Combination of Specialized Experience and Education – Graduate education exceeding one full year combined with appropriate specialized experience to meet total qualification requirements.
GS‑11 Specialized Experience For GS‑11 level, one year of experience at a GS‑09 level. Experience in determining the most appropriate principles, practices, and methods for all phases of assignments; knowledge of database creation and utilization (Nuix, CloudNine Law, Relativity, Everlaw); electronic data acquisition and processing; pre‑trial and trial support, including courtroom presentation using OnCue.
GS‑11 Education Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or three full years of progressively higher‑level graduate education leading to such a degree.
Combination for GS‑11 Combination of specialized experience as described above and graduate education as described above which, when combined, equal 100% of the requirements. (Only graduate education in excess of two full years is creditable.)
General Education Requirements All academic degrees and coursework must be from an accredited institution. Undergraduate or graduate education must be in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management, or a degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems, or networks.
