SAIC has an immediate opening for a Senior Campus Mobility System Administrator to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - This critical position is located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract(SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs),and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
We are seeking an experienced Campus Mobility System Administrator to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct Tier I–II technical support for the full lifecycle of Enterprise mobility services, including mobile devices, multi-vendor applications, connectivity, and end-user environments. Deliver remote reach-back and technical support for VIP personnel during CONUS and OCONUS travel, including real-time troubleshooting of device hardware/software/apps, connectivity, and access issues. Apply advanced multi-domain IT troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software/app, mobility, network connectivity, and user experience issues. Campus Mobility System Administrators work closely with other IT teams and service providers to ensure seamless integration and support of our IT infrastructure.
Configure, issue, secure, and maintain government mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets
Provision, configure, and support VIP travel laptops to enable secure remote access to enterprise and mission systems
Deploy and maintain portable connectivity solutions, including secure mobile routers, hotspots, and mobile tactical comm kits
Perform device imaging, configuration, patching, updates, and lifecycle management for endpoint and mobility equipment
Provide direct support for secure email, collaboration platforms, remote access services, setup/test VTC services, and enterprise mobility solutions
Coordinate/facilitate troubleshooting with enterprise service providers, network operations, and cybersecurity teams for issues requiring escalation beyond Tier II
Deliver rapid response, white-glove support for General/Flag Officers (GO/FO) and Senior Executive Staff in time-sensitive and mission-critical situations
Maintain asset accountability, configuration documentation, and operational readiness status for VIP IT equipment
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for VIP mobility, remote support, and operational processes
REQUIRED and DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
REQUIRED; current CompTIA Security+ Certification / IAT2
REQUIRED; current Top Secret (TS) Clearance with SCI Eligibility
Desired; Cisco CCNA/CCNP Certification or MS AZ-104 Certification or equivalent or higher level IT certifications
Desired; Expertise in CSfC principles, protocols, and technologies, including VPN, firewalls, switching, routing, and IPv4/IPv6
Desired; Microsoft Intune experience managing user access to organizational resources across application servers, mobile devices, laptop computers, and virtual endpoints
Strong background in end-to-end IT support, including endpoints, mobility, connectivity, and collaboration technologies
Exceptional IT troubleshooting skills across multiple technology domains
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; high level of professionalism, discretion, and customer service
Ability to excel/perform/work independently and must be a strong, proactive team player
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum 12 years with HS Diploma, 10 years with AS/AA degree, 8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA, or 3 years with PHD.
