This position will be fully onsite in our Houston, TX office for the first 6 months to support system integrations. After this initial period, the role will transition to a hybrid schedule with a mix of onsite and remote work.
In T his R ole, Y ou W ill :
Provide daily support for accident reconstruction and forensic software, hardware, and related systems
Install, configure,maintain, and troubleshoot Windows-based applications, endpoints, peripherals, and specialized equipment
Support user account provisioning, access control, software deployment, and updates in alignment with IT processes
Manage and document incidents and service requests through the ticketing system, ensuringtimelyresolution andaccuratetracking
Perform initial diagnosis of software, hardware, and connectivity issues; escalating complex problems as needed
Assistsenior IT staff with systems administration tasks and endpoint management
MaintainaccurateIT asset records, including inventory, licensing, assignments, and lifecycle tracking
Coordinate device deployment, shipping, receiving, replacement, and recovery for both office and remote users
Create andmaintaintechnical documentation, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides
Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including workstation setup and equipment handling
Collaborate with internal users, vendors, and IT team members to resolve issues and support business-critical systems
Participate in routine maintenance, audits, and continuous process improvement initiatives
Performadditionalduties as assigned
What You Bring :
Associate Degree or higher required
5+ years of experience in IT support, application support, or systems support
Demonstrated ability to support enterprise software and hardware in a professional environment
Strong troubleshooting skills, including experience with niche or vendor-specific technologies
Experience working within a centralized ticketing or IT service management system
Working knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) principles, including lifecycle and inventory tracking
Proficiencyinstalling, configuring, updating, and supporting Windows-based applications and peripherals
Ability to create clear technical documentation and user-facing guidance
Strong customer service mindset with effective communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
Willingness to handle occasional physical tasks such as packing, shipping, and receiving equipment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting FARO hardware/software (e.g., 3D scanners, point cloud processing)
Familiarity with vehicle data and diagnostic tools (e.g., PACCAR, Cummins, Bendix, Navistar, Detroit Diesel, CAT ET, Bosch CDR)
Understanding of accident reconstruction workflows and data collection processes
Experience supporting forensic, engineering, or other specialized technical user groups
Experience coordinating with third-party vendors for support and licensing
Exposure to scripting, automation, or workflow optimization
