busy, rapidly growing outpatient psychiatry practice
is seeking an experienced
Physician Assistant
to provide high-quality patient care while taking on a leadership role. This position blends hands-on psychiatric care with mentorship, team development, and program oversight. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has prior outpatient mental health experience. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnose conditions, and manage medications
Provide ongoing treatment and follow-up care for outpatient patients
Lead, mentor, and support a team of Advanced Practice Providers (PAs and NPs)
Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams
Ensure adherence to clinical quality standards and regulatory requirements
Contribute to process improvements and program development
Qualifications
Active, unrestricted CA PA license
5+ years of outpatient psychiatry experience
(adult, child/adolescent, or both)
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Excellent communication, collaboration, and team-building skills
Strong commitment to patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting
Compensation & Benefits
$175K $220K annual salary
