Backend Software Engineer
LaSalle Network is partnering with a high‑growth client to bring on a Mid‑Level Software Engineer for their Survey Engineering team. This is a full‑time opportunity for a motivated engineer to take ownership of backend systems and play a key role in building scalable, data‑driven applications. You’ll work within a modern, cloud‑first environment using technologies like Python, Django, SQL, Docker, and GitHub. Ideal candidates bring a problem‑solving mindset, an eagerness to collaborate across teams, and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code.
Mid‑Level Software Engineer Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services with Python and Django
Design scalable database structures and write optimized SQL queries
Build and manage Docker‑based containers for dev and production
Participate in peer code reviews and support continuous integration workflows
Implement features that integrate with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
Collaborate cross‑functionally to meet engineering goals and timelines
Ensure application reliability, performance, and data integrity
Mid‑Level Software Engineer Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
3–5 years of backend development experience
Expertise in Python, Django, SQL, and containerization tools
Experience with GitHub and familiarity with agile workflows
Knowledge of cloud deployment with AWS or Azure is preferred
Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
