Location This is an on-site role based in the Augusta, GA area, offering the opportunity to work closely with attorneys, clients, and litigation support staff in a professional law firm setting. Note Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Georgia and have 2+ years of employment litigation experience. Wage and hour, workplace disputes, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, restrictive covenant, or employer-side litigation experience is preferred. About Us Confidential Employer. Job Description Represent clients in employment litigation matters, including workplace disputes, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour, and related claims. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, discovery responses, position statements, correspondence, and other litigation documents. Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies in partnership with supervising attorneys and clients. Manage discovery, document review, case deadlines, and case preparation from early stages through resolution. Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, settlement discussions, and trial preparation. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal team members in a professional and responsive manner. Support a broader litigation practice as needed, including general civil litigation and business-related disputes. Maintain strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through across an active caseload. Qualifications Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Active Georgia Bar license in good standing required. 2+ years of employment litigation experience required. Experience with wage and hour disputes, workplace investigations, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, restrictive covenants, or employer-side litigation preferred. Strong legal research, writing, drafting, and analytical skills. Experience handling discovery, motions, pleadings, and litigation deadlines. Ability to work on-site and collaborate closely with attorneys, clients, and staff. Professional, responsive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple matters in a busy law firm environment.
