We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in supporting business operations through data, reporting, systems administration, and process improvement. This position serves as a key resource across the organization, helping to monitor and troubleshoot enterprise applications, maintain data integrity, develop business reporting, document processes, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, highly analytical, and passionate about using technology and data to solve business problems.
This is a hands‑on opportunity to gain exposure to all areas of the business while partnering closely with leaders across Product Development, Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Technology. The Business Analyst will help transform data into actionable insights, support strategic initiatives, and contribute to the systems and processes that enable Mud Pie to scale and grow. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, learning new technologies, and making a measurable impact in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into system, reporting, and process solutions.
Troubleshoot enterprise applications, including managing the support process, documenting and implementing solutions.
Create detailed business process documentation.
Track and report all system changes and enhancements.
Understanding of data structure within applications.
Utilization of SQL for reporting and identification of systemic issues.
Assist with developing data pipelines and integration within an IPaaS environment.
Assist with developing business intelligence environment in Power BI.
Assist in ensuring and maintaining integrity of data throughout the organization.
Identify and scope out opportunities for automation within core business processes.
Support internal stakeholders with data and report requests.
Requirements
1–3 years of related work or project experience in a business or data analyst role.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business, or related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel.
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning applications.
Experience with SSMS, MySQL, or similar database querying tools.
Experience with reporting packages such as QlikView, Power BI, and Tableau.
Experience with API integrations is a plus.
Experience with project management software such as Monday, DevOps, and Jira is a plus.
Experience with data warehouses and ETL processes is a plus.
Experience with PLM and WMS systems is a plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong problem solving and reasoning abilities.
Must work well in fast‑paced, customer‑driven environment with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative and good judgment.
Ability to work on multiple projects with separate requirements, demands, and user groups simultaneously.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
