Join our NAPA family as a Counter Sales Associate, the face of the retail store. This role is perfect for anyone looking to spend a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part‑time, or explore other career paths within NAPA. Responsibilities Provide auto parts answers and solutions for our retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone. Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members and answer questions for customers. Provide outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who comes into the NAPA store. Bring retail customers into the store and engage to provide a positive consumer experience. Use technology, including computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system. Maintain a customer‑focused, high‑energy environment in the fast‑paced store. Qualifications Valid driver’s license. Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or a willingness to learn all things auto parts. High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses or degree are a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Love for fast‑paced retail environments. Great listening skills and empathy for customers. Background or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership is a bonus. Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision. Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems. ASE certifications are a plus. Compensation & Benefits The position offers hourly pay starting at $16 with progression opportunities.
