Core System Administration
Install, configure, and maintain NIPR/SIPR Windows and Linux systems, servers, and mission‑support applications.
Manage system accounts, permissions, directory services, and system policies in Active Directory.
Perform system maintenance, hardware, peripherals, and performance optimization.
Support system integration and testing activities alongside engineering and simulation teams.
Security, Hardening & Vulnerability Management
Operate and maintain security tools such as Splunk, ACAS, DISA STIG and POA&M process.
Support ATO sustainment efforts by maintaining compliant configurations and assisting with assessment preparations.
Assist with maintaining cybersecurity artifacts and system compliance documentation.
Organization Leadership
Provide technical and logistical leadership by coordinating with administrative and organizational leaders and system owners.
Contribute to system upgrades, feature enhancements, and modernization efforts.
Ability to align workflows to results‑driven solutions in large environments.
Operational & Mission Support
Support DMOC system operations during exercises, events, integration periods, and test windows.
Collaborate with network engineers, software developers, mission system operators, and cybersecurity teams.
Lead desktop support team through resource management and project plans.
Maintain systems to ensure high availability, reliability, and readiness for mission execution.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
An active TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of system administration experience
OR Associate Degree with 10 years of technical leadership
3 years administering and assessing Windows/Linux systems for configuration compliance (NIST SP 800‑53 / RMF‑aligned).
3 years evaluating system security controls and supporting compliance or accreditation activities.
2 years experience maintaining cybersecurity documentation, system artifacts, or audit evidence.
2 years researching system vulnerabilities and recommending remediation strategies.
Familiarity with system requirements development, validation, and verification.
DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (must achieve IAT III within 6 months).
Additional Desired Skills And Experience
Experience with technology project planning and deployment.
Prior experience with customer‑facing role in cross functional or multi‑network environments.
Experience supporting government agencies or large defense programs.
Strong communication skills and ability to present technical information effectively.
