Job Overview You will be part of the global corporate engineering team tasked with advancing and optimizing the information and data controls, management and analytics for our manufacturing automation processes and equipment for internal and contract manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Oversee the development and management of manufacturing automation equipment controls, PLC programming, and data management. Support scale‑up and installation efforts, and ongoing equipment improvement to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and improve manufacturing efficiencies. Support on‑market sustaining efforts, including change management, investigations, margin improvement initiatives, and continuous improvement programs. Develop an automation equipment controls strategy to ensure continuity and compliance across our global manufacturing footprint. Plan and direct all aspects of team activities: set goals, establish priorities, manage resources, develop concepts and approaches, review project progress and results, and make management decisions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline. 8‑12 years of industry experience, with 2‑5 years of management or lead experience. Demonstrated robust engineering expertise in IT, controls, and analytics within a high‑volume, highly regulated ClassII medical device environment. Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a focus on personal and team accountability. Proficient in engineering software tools such as SolidWorks, JMP, or Minitab. Ability to manage projects, teams, and timelines, and facilitate the transfer of new technologies and processes.
