Linux Embedded Developer U-Boot: • Good knowledge of cross compilation. • U-Boot build, build setup, ability to configure, bin file size optimization. • Knowledge of TFTP, x/y/z modem. • The candidate must be able to configure the kernel startup parameters, autostart, knowledge of file systems and how to work with them from the U-Boot environment. • Knowledge of standard U-Boot environment variables. Linux kernel: • The candidate must be able to cross-compile the kernel to meet the project requirements. • Ability to configure the kernel, knowledge of the file structure of the Linux Kernel project. • Must also have experience in debugging kernel startup, knowledge of GDB and KGDB. • Experience debugging linux drivers. Knowledge of systemv & systemd is required. • The main work will be to transfer the existing initialization subsystem from systemv to systemd. • Knowledge of NFS is desirable. Yocto project: • Experience in building and adapting the FS to the needs of the project using the Yocto project tool. • Setting up and configuring the recipe, managing the building procedure. • Knowledge of QEMU is desirable.
