Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Component Design Engineer will design solutions for reactor structures and components, coordinate project requirements, and perform scoping analysis and calculations. Key responsibilities
Design solutions for reactor structures and components, including rotatable plug assembly equipment Coordinate inputs from Engineering and Project teams to develop design solutions Assess technical merits of solutions and lead design reviews
Required qualifications
B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience Extensive experience with equipment and component design, familiar with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III Proficiency in finite element stress analysis and tools like ANSYS Experience writing detailed design specifications Familiarity with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
